To do instant online credit card transaction on your web site - Internet payment solution,
you need 2 setup:
A merchant account setup in a bank that carrys out credit card transaction
An internet gateway setup which is equivelent to a terminal usually seen in a store for swiping a credit card and passing the info to a processing bank.
If you don't have a merchant account yet, you'll need an integrated Authorizenet account. This account includes a merchant account and an internet gateway. It's easy to apply, almost 100% approval. If you already have a merchant account, you'll just need apply a gateway, Please be aware though:
(1) You'll need to contact your bank to get an merchant ID for the internet gateway. The bank may ask you to fill an application form that specifys a high rate, or even intends to sell you their gateway (usually much high charge). Contact us when you are asked to fill an application. Our experiences can help you not to be charged unnecessarily.
(2) If the credit card processing network of your bank is not compatible with Authorizenet gateway, We suggest you apply an integrated account.
